The Button Club organised a traditional Scottish Burns’ Nicht of fine dining, poetry, romance, and song on the occasion of the 250th Anniversary of the birth of Scotland’s greatest poet and lover, Robert Burns.
The guests were treated to a champagne reception and five course dinner, with wine and malt whiskey, Pipers, poems, toasts and the full “Address to the Haggis”. A demonstration of Highland Dancing (sword dancing) delighted the spectators and we all took part in reeling and a special Highland disco. |
