Following a hugely successful return in 2008, 2009 will see Oasis embark on a stadium tour.
After starting out on the Manchester club circuit, Oasis exploded onto the music scene at the start of the ‘90s and have remained at the forefront of British music ever since. Noel’s words and Liam’s raspy vocals, Oasis still sound as fresh and cutting edge as they were ten years ago. The Gallagher brothers are the band's leading songwriters and the only continual members. The present lineup is completed by guitarist Gem Archer and bassist Andy Bell, as well as unofficial drummer Chris Sharrock
As one of the most iconic British bands, Oasis have sold over 65 million records worldwide, with 8 UK number-one singles, 15 NME Awards, 5 Brit Awards and 4 MTV Europe Awards, to mention a few. Their third album, Be Here Now (1997), became the fastest-selling album in UK chart history and in 2007 Oasis received a BRIT Award for outstanding contribution to music.
