After two successful launches of the Art Group we are now booking our first Art Group Weekend during the morning and afternoon of Saturday 28th June.
11am
The group will meet for coffee at Riflemaker, 79, Beak Street, (off Regent Street), Soho, W1.
We will then visit four major galleries in Soho and Mayfair and take a critical look at their current exhibitions.
3pm:
We will visit the auction houses Sotheby's/Christies and Phillips de Pury to view their current Contemporary sales in detail and discuss the market value of the work on offer. We will look at the art auction process from consignment to bidding and also suggest particular works in the sales according to the preferences of the group which may be worth acquiring.
5pm:
We will aim to finish at 5pm at Phillips in Victoria W1.
