 As reported in the Financial Times and the Guardian, investors and speculators always turn their attention to the art world in uncertain times. Recent sales at Sotheby's and Christie's have highlighted the fact that in the area of Contemporary Art the frenzy which began ten years ago still continues. But how does it work and how does one enter this seemingly detached world?
 The Button Club, in association with Riflemaker gallery www.riflemaker.org now opens its exclusive Art Group which will meet regularly to both view new work by emerging young artists and also examine and analyse the current market.
The Art Group will introduce members to the real world of Art collecting, focussing on works which will both give pleasure and retain or increase their value.The Art Group will be working with private galleries and visiting the main auction houses including Christies, Sotheby's, Bonhams and Phillips. |
